Presently we have an excellent potential herdsire available out of ARMCH Sandy Hills Hollow Sayil 2*D *M AR (Linear Appraisal 2007 EXC!!) sired by DD Tiny Toes Xaver. Black with some white spots, he also has a big moonspot on his right side! We expect this boy to do well in the show ring and to put beautiful capacious mammary systems on his kids. Born Feb. 3rd, he will be ready to leave the first week of April. $500 and courtesy to repeat buyers as always. Paypal accepted.
Peeps is a first freshener out of our Squeeks - Rosasharn's B'Udderfly (working on those dairy stars and AR's now!). She is a lovely petite black and white pinto sired by our wonderful buck, Sebastian. More dairy than her mom, she is always a gentle and affectionate girl and we are thrilled that she gave us twins! Her udder looks very nice, socked up there tight with a good medial to boot! The black and white roaned doeling is available with her wethered brother for $500. Born June 18th, they will be ready for their new homes in August!
Since we were lucky enough to get plenty of doelings this time and we are keeping several of them, we will have some junior does available from last year's kiddings. They are all around a year of age and ready to be bred for late fall kids.
These girls were all kept because of their great mammary potential, so should do very well for you if you want to increase your milk production. They are lovely. I'll be happy to take photos for you if interested in adding a quality doe to your program.
Prices range from $250 to $500 depending on age and pedigree.
We also have several very nice unrelated bucklings from this past winter available - if purchased with a Junior Doe from above, we'll take $200 off their price!
Please feel free to contact us with your needs. Thank you!
We do whole-herd health testing every year with our vet for CAE and Johne's and have always tested negative on all of our goats. We have never had a case of CL on our property either. Our barn stalls are cleaned weekly down to the concrete, using PDZ on the floor then covering with a generous layer of white shavings to help ensure our herd's overall health. Almost all of our goats have never had any antibiotics too - a consideration if you are looking for breeding stock for your organic farm. We prefer to treat them with as natural a product possible, if required.
Our kids are doing well in the show ring! We are pretty excited with how well folks are doing with them - they are healthy and robust, their structure is sound and most of our kids come to you rather than exiting the building - lol! We want you to have lovely goats that have great mammary potential, let us help you find the right compliment for your herd.
Yes, we DO ship! We've had years of experience shipping by air and we do prefer that kids are shipped after 8 weeks of age to ensure their good health and safety. I no longer am able to ship on Fridays and Saturdays as those are the 2 days that I teach classes, except during the winter months. Thank you for your understanding!
We do whole herd testing for CAE and Johne's and tested negative again for 2007 as we have always done! Our herd is clear of CL and Brucellosis, and we are in a TB free state. We have a GREAT goat vet and our herd gets the best of care.
Shipping kids from Alaska is not a problem. We are very comfortable with making both the veterinary and airline arrangements. All of our foundation stock have been flown here to Alaska, and we have flown out those who have been sold to new homes, so we have no problems with arranging a flight for your new purchase. Airfares for a #200, Medium, kennel start at $195 out of Alaska. We have excellent connections to the lower-48 states from here being an International airport hub, most kids arrive to you during the afternoon or evenings hours.
You will be responsible for both the airfare as well as the veterinary health check and certificate. You can ship us your crate or we will purchase one for you at your expense. We do not charge to take animals to the airport an hour and a half away, it is a service that we are glad to provide you as purchaser of one of our kids!
We cannot guarantee that your kid will not go over height, that is a matter of genetics that we can't control, but we do make the best effort to ensure that this doesn't happen and breed accordingly. Most of our does are under 20" also which helps. We cannot accept any animal back once it has left our herd as we must assure our biosecurity.
We do accept PayPal. A non-refundable deposit of $100 will reserve your kid prior to birth on a first come first served basis, but we must be notified in advance before you send a deposit. If the kid of your choice is not available, the deposit will be retained for your 2nd choice, and if your 2nd choice is not available you will receive a refund. $100 non-refundable deposit required for any kid reserved after birth. All kids must be picked up or sent to their new location by 12 weeks of age, anything beyond this will incure a $2 per day boarding fee. Please feel free to email us with any questions, we are happy to help!
